 Biography
Sari Reis is the Owner and Operator of Mission Valley Pet Sitting Services. For the better part of her life she has lived with pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, and white mice. She currently is the mother of an eight year old domestic short-hair named Chaim.
Sari is Pet First Aid Certified and is Accredited with Pet Sitters International. She is a Certified Humane Education Specialist and a member of the Association of Professional Humane Educators.
A volunteer with the San Diego Humane Society for nearly three years, she also is a SNAP "spay neuter action project" volunteer, as well as a volunteer with PAWS San Diego.
Sari is a member and licensed presenter with Doggone Safe in their Bite Prevention Program. and is currently writing a monthly column on subjects related to responsible pet parenting in the Mission Valley News and the Mission Times Courier.
She is Bonded and Insured.
Her passion for animals is a driving force in her advocacy to see animals treated humanely with love, respect, appreciation and empathy. Her goal is to improve the human/animal bond and to dramatically reduce the number of homeless and euthanized animals around the country. Her mission is to help bring to reality No More Homeless Pets by 2015. That means shutting down the Puppy Mills across the country, spaying and neutering all companion animals, and educating the public on responsible pet parenting.
