Jenna Brinson Jimeno
Jenna has worked for Mission Valley Pet Sitting for over a year now! Originally from Mississippi, she was raised with animals her entire life. She truly believes animals bring people joy and are our angels on earth. When Jenna was a flight attendant for 5 years, she would make sure to visit local animal rescue centers in the different cities she would fly to, and ask if she could volunteer. She believes in doing what makes you happy in life and being able to care for animals day in and day out makes her feel like she has hit the jackpot! Lucy, her little Frenchie, is the light of her life. And congratulations to Jenna. She just received her Certification as a Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International.
Amy Marrah has enjoyed working for MVPSS since August 2013. She has extensive volunteer experience with animal welfare organizations such as San Diego Humane Society, Feral Cat Coalition, and Rescue House. As a past employee with Health and Human Services, Amy has developed incredible compassion and a gentle nature. Her expertise and skill with shy cats is legendary. She shares her home with 3 felines. Amy has just become Certified as a Professional Pet Sitter with PSI.
Amy Shaw has worked as a dog walker, pet sitter and cat care giver with Mission Valley Pet Sitting Services for over to 6 years. In June of 2009, after spending a number of years in the corporate world, she turned her passion for animals into volunteering at the San Diego Humane Society on Gaines St. Besides walking dogs there, she also assists with the Training and Behavior department at the Sherman St. facility. Amy is our "go to" person when client's pets have behavior issues and need a loving guided hand. Amy also has 3 kitties that call her "mom".
Jeff became an animal lover at an early age. When he was five, a Dachshund/Spaniel named Maggie joined his family.
Before long, turtles, fish, rabbits, hamsters, baby chicks and briefly, an alligator named Calvin, we're under his care.
In the past, Jeff had to avoid cats due to allergies. Luckily, they've subsided and he now has two cats at home and spends time with many more at the county shelter.
A former teacher, he enjoys learning about animals, both wild and domestic. He uses his photography skills to include fun pet photos with some of his text updates to our clients.
Katherine London was raised with animals her entire life so she understands that they are an integral part of the family dynamic and are deserving of as much care, love, and respect as anyone else. Prior to joining this team she had been a pet sitter for dogs and cats of multiple families for almost seven years. She is currently in her third and final year of law school at the University of San Diego and upon passing the bar exam has hopes of getting more involved in animal advocacy due to her passion for animals. She volunteered with the local humane society when she lived in Oregon and her next immediate step is to become more involved with the San Diego Humane Society and to begin the process of becoming a foster mom for animals in need. She is currently the mother of her wonderful cat Rudy and he is one of the most precious things in her life.
