Did you know that 1 out of 3 dogs will get cancer during their lifetime and 1 out of 2 dogs over the age of 10 will die from it? Those are terrifying statistics and we need to do something about it. As with all diseases, the answer to eradication is research. But research takes time and it takes money. There are several ways you can help.

I don't know about you but senior dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I love the white in their muzzles and the wisdom in their eyes. They are wonderful old souls that bring love, comfort and empathy wherever they go. November is National Adopt a Senior Dog month and if you are considering adopting a dog I highly recommend a senior dog. WHY? They are already trained and well-behaved. You know what you are getting. They bond with their humans very quickly. They are loyal, appreciative and loving. |
