I just returned from the Morris Animal Foundation K-9 Cancer Walk in San Marcos. What a wonderful event. There were hundreds of people walking with their furry kids. I am sure they raised many thousands of dollars for canine cancer research. This year we had perfect weather and the venue was superb. There were numerous vendors with wonderful goods, services and information to be had. I must commend the event sponsors and organizers for a job extremely well done. This was my second year attending this event and I am sure I will return next year. The hope of course is that we are able to eradicate all kinds of cancers that effect our four-legged kids by funding the research that will make this disease a thing of the past. Thank you to all of you who attended and for those of you who donated. If you didn't have a chance to be there, you can still donate by visiting www.morrisanimalfoundation.org. It is my hope that when I co-ordinate the 2milliondogs.org canine cancer walk in San Diego this November, there will also be an incredible turnout and lots of support.
