The Humane Society of the United States has declared the last Tuesday of February each year as Spay Day to bring attention to the importance of Spay/Neutering. Every year between 4-5 million companion animals are euthanized in this country due to pet over-population.These animals are healthy and adoptable but due to the lack of homes for them, they are needlessly killed. Spay/Neutering our companion animals, feral cats, and street dogs is a proven way to dramatically lower pet over-population and to save lives. For more information please go to: |
