I received my weekly e-newsletter today from Dog Times Weekly, a publication of Dogtime.com. There was an amazing story in there that touched my heart and I know will touch yours. It is about a dog, named Fiona, who was rescued from the trash in southern Los Angeles by Audrey and Eldad Hagar. They got a call and raced out to save her. She was terribly matted, flea infested, terrified and blind. The couple, who run a non-profit organization called "Hope for Paws", brought her home, cleaned her up, took her to the vet and were able to get her sight restored in one eye. They have the whole thing on Utube and I dare you not to cry as you watch this miracle. Please visit the website www.hopeforpaws.org for more information and to donate to this great organization. |
