I just received this email from a friend and fellow pet sitter yesterday and had to share it with you. "My
friend just told me her dog “Sporty” got bit by a rattlesnake
yesterday, luckily he is ok. (vet bill $1,000 +). They were walking
on the pavement, he was on the leash, my friend could have been
bitten too. (Gird area, near golf course) Please, if you can afford the Rattlesnake avoidance class, please take it. I also encourage the Rattlesnake vaccine, which “buys” you time to get to the Vet if your dog gets bit. Low cost clinic , Saturday April 13
